I use this constantly for my knowledge of Spanish words. I am teaching Spanish but have had 3 years over 60 years ago. Not being fluent this dictionary is invaluable!

This is definitely one of the premier Spanish dictionaries available at any price. It gives ALL the possible translations for a given word. Also provides common phrases using the word. I especially like being able to enter a word in either language and get the translation in the other language. A simple thing, but most other dictionaries want you to tell up front what language to translate.

Not comprehensive but great for quick look up of most words you will need. Have not found any errors in 2 years of frequent use.Just got back from a month in Chile and Argentina where it had a few problems since there are so many different words for food. For example frutillo is used for strawberry in Chile but was not in dictionary. Overall would highly recommend for daily use.If you want more explanations go online

I have several dual-language dictionaries on my iPhone, but this is the only one labeled only "Dictionary". So I dont forget I have this app and can find it when I need it, could the developer please include "Sp.-En." Or "Esp.-Eng." in the home screen title?

This app is very amazing

The vast majority of the definitions are spot on, although the format leaves something to be desired.

It does take a long time to download the first time, but thats because you are downloading an entire dictionary to your iPod. After the first time, it loads very quickly! I am very impressed with this app. The different parts of speech are very clearly distinguished, and the synonyms help add understanding to the different translations of the word. I also like the fact that it will pronounce the words for you. It is nice that its not just a translator like so many other apps that are available; its actually a dictionary. I recommended this dictionary to my Spanish students as a resource for our class. So far, they love it!

Quick, easy access to a good amount of vocab. Synonyms are helpful and the regional variation notes come in handy

Put this version on a few ipads and the update is bad. Please bug fixes for ipad 3!

I love this dictionary for when Im reading and come across vocabulary I dont recognize. Its short on slang, but they also just released a new slang dictionary too! Thumbs way up.

This dictionary doesnt have every word in the world but it does have a lot. For a basic Spanish-English dictionary this is the app for you.

This application is packed with a lot of translated words and meanings. Its a life saver especially when you dont have Internet connection. I am learning Spanish and I refuse to pay for data, unfortunately most apps only works with Internet connection. Its one of my favorite apps. The upgrades just keep getting better.
